"The statement of the Russian side about the alleged violation of the process of exchange of prisoners and bodies of the dead by Ukraine does not reflect the truth," the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War said, APA reports, citing UNIAN.
It was noted that official Kyiv presented the relevant list to the other side for the exchange process to take place and agreed on the return of the bodies, but official Moscow acted unilaterally, providing a completely different list: "We call on Russia to stop the dirty games and to take constructive action on both sides to ensure the exchange takes place, as well as to ensure the implementation of the agreements in the coming days.”
Recall that earlier, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said that the Ukrainian side had unexpectedly postponed both the reception of the bodies and the exchange of prisoners of war for an indefinite period. According to him, the Ukrainian side did not arrive at the agreed point for the exchange.
