In the city of Baykalsk, Irkutsk region, Russia, a teenager killed four of his peers with a knife and then died in a fire that broke out, APA reports, citing Gazeta.ru.
According to the investigation, the incident occurred in a private house located in the Gorny Baikal gardening cooperative. One of the teenagers in the same house attacked the others with a knife. Four people died at the scene, and four more teenagers were taken to the hospital with various injuries.
“The attacker then set the house on fire and died as a result of the fire that broke out,” the Investigative Committee said.
The bodies of five teenagers were found at the scene. A criminal case has been opened on the fact under the article of murder. All details of the incident are being investigated.
