Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan called Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin's views on Armenia a threat, APA reports citing Armenian media.
He underlined that official Moscow should first clarify the issues related to the scope of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, as well as its obligations.
"First of all, please stop threatening us. It's enough to talk about the CSTO. Before talking about this organization, let them come and tell through which territories its borders pass, as well as what are its obligations. Let them clarify what Russia's obligations are, both as a partner of the CSTO and as a party to the Armenia-Russia agreement. Stop making statements about our sovereign territories," Simonyan stressed.
It should be noted that a little while ago, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin noted that the ill-considered actions of the official Yerevan may make it impossible to create a single defense zone with the CSTO member states, including the country.
