Our relations with Iran are a priority for us, Russian President Vladimir Putin said this during his meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, APA's Moscow correspondent reports
“Our relations with Iran are a priority for us, and they are developing very successfully. This year, we are seeing an increase in trade turnover. Although it hasn’t fully recovered from the decline of last year, the trend is positive. We are actively working together on the international stage, and our assessments of global events are often very close. I’m confident we’ll discuss this today as well. Iran has become a full member of the SCO and BRICS. Masoud Pezeshkian is expected in Kazan for the BRICS summit, where a bilateral meeting between the leaders is planned,” Putin said.
