CIS countries can now join the unified customs transit system operating within the Eurasian Economic Union, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government held in the capital of Tajikistan, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the system is open to all member states of the union.
The head of the Russian government noted that the unified customs transit system allows for reducing business costs and increasing the security level of cross-border transportation.
