The Baltic countries are pursuing a destructive line in the South Caucasus, Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Information and Press Department Andrey Nastasin said at a briefing he held today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

According to him, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia pit the former Soviet republics against Russia and are pursuing a destructive line in the South Caucasus.

Note that at the briefing he held today, the Russian Foreign Ministry official also said that the United States is trying to separate Armenia and Azerbaijan from Russia by inviting them to the NATO summit.
