Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin held a phone conversation with Ruben Rubinyan, the Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament and Special Representative for Normalization of Relations with Türkiye, APA reports, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The official Moscow reiterated its intention to mediate further in finding common ground between Yerevan and Ankara.
It was noted that the normalization of relations between the two countries is a key factor for stability and sustainable development in the South Caucasus.
In turn, Rubinyan updated the Russian side on the ongoing processes surrounding the normalization efforts.
Both officials also discussed several issues concerning bilateral relations, as well as cooperation within the "3+3" format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, plus Russia, Iran, Türkiye) in the South Caucasus.
The conversation was described as a constructive dialogue.
