Russia is concerned about the sharp escalation of tensions between Israel and Iran, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
He said that official Moscow condemns the sharp increase in tensions between Israel and Iran.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that, on the instruction of the president, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will soon provide a detailed statement regarding the situation between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
Peskov emphasized that Vladimir Putin is receiving updates on the developments in the Middle East through the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Foreign Intelligence Service.
