"Russia is generally satisfied with negotiations with Ukraine and is ready to continue contacts," said Vladimir Medinsky, head of the Russian delegation at the Istanbul talks, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him both Russia and Ukraine would soon present their detailed visions regarding a potential future ceasefire: “Moscow is ready to continue negotiations.”
Medinsky also said that Russia and Ukraine are expected to carry out a 1000-for-1000 prisoner exchange in the near future.
He added that Russia has taken note of Ukraine’s demand for direct talks between the countries' leaders.
