Russia is ready to start a prisoner exchange with Ukraine on June 7-9, said Vladimir Medinsky, an assistant to the Russian President and head of the delegation negotiating with Ukraine, APA reports, citing TASS.
"We assume that there will be 1,200 people from each side, and this will still be the largest exchange of POWs. We, for our part, are fully prepared for this," Medinsky said at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government.
