From 00:00 on May 8, all units of the Russian Armed Forces in the special military operation zone have completely ceased combat operations, the Russian Ministry of Defense released information in this regard, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
It was reported that 488 ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been recorded.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Russian Armed Forces are responding appropriately to Ukraine's violations of the ceasefire regime and will continue to act according to the evolving situation.
It was also added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces made two attempts to breach the Russian state border in the Kursk region, and also conducted attacks in the Dzerzhinsk district of Donetsk.
"Russia's air defense systems shot down 2 JDAM air bombs and 182 UAVs within the last 24 hours."
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, prior to the ceasefire, the Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on infrastructure facilities of Ukrainian military airfields.
