Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement claiming Ukrainian troops are still present in Russia’s Kursk region, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Peskov suggested referring to the statements of President Vladimir Putin and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov on the matter.
Earlier, Russia announced on April 26 that the Kursk region had been fully cleared of Ukrainian forces. Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported the information to President Putin.
After the official announcement, Ukrainian leader Zelensky stated that Ukrainian troops were still present in Russia’s Kursk and Belgorod regions.
