Russian President Vladimir Putin has visited the Kursk region for the first time since the complete liberation of the region, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
Putin held a meeting with volunteers in Kursk.
Additionally, the Russian president visited the construction site of the Kursk NPP-2 (nuclear power plant) in the Kursk region.
Putin also held a meeting with municipal leaders of the Kursk region in the city of Kurchatov.
Note that in August 2023, part of Russia's Kursk region came under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On April 26 of this year, Russia announced that the Kursk region had been completely liberated from the Ukrainian army.
