Russian President Vladimir Putin has commented on the missile strike targeting a congress center in the Ukrainian city of Sumy, APA reports, citing Russian media.
Putin stated that the strike was carried out because the center was being used to award Ukrainian servicemen who were allegedly involved in what he described as “criminal acts” in Russia’s Kursk region.
It should be noted that over 30 people were killed and hundreds injured as a result of the Russian ballistic missile attack on Sumy on April 13.
