There is a significant amount of intense work going on regarding the Ukraine settlement, said Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, there have been positive results regarding the settlement: "The exact contours of an agreement on Ukraine settlement are not yet clear, but there is political will to move in that direction. Moscow and Washington are working hard for peace. Of course, the essence of the matter is so complex that immediate results cannot be expected. Nevertheless, I would like to remain hopeful that this work will yield positive results."
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that economic cooperation between Russia and the US could play a stabilizing role for the world: "This is obvious."
