Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, spoke about the anti-Russian protests held in Yerevan during Sergey Lavrov's visit to Armenia, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

"We had already commented on this performance before the visit. These are the same organizers, the same money, and the same sources. There is no need to clarify anything from anyone here. Those who do this want to sow discord among the post-Soviet countries. What do we need to clarify, the 3 kopecks someone spent on these protests?" — the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said in response to a question about whether Moscow would demand clarifications from Yerevan regarding the protest.

Note that before Sergey Lavrov’s working visit to Yerevan on May 21-22, a large banner was hung in Yerevan on a bridge showing a photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the word "murderer" written on it, along with a message about the war in Ukraine.
