North Korean (DPRK) soldiers' participation in the operation to liberate Kursk region demonstrated the effectiveness of the agreement between the two countries, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
He noted that Russia is ready to provide military assistance to North Korea if needed. "This is stated in the relevant agreement signed between Russia and the DPRK."
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that currently, there are no plans for Russian President Vladimir Putin to have contacts with DPRK leader Kim Jong Un.
