"A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is possible if the delegations of both countries reach a mutual agreement," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, APA reports.
“Russia and Ukraine have agreed to exchange lists of ceasefire conditions, and work is ongoing. The first step is to implement the agreements reached in Istanbul, including the exchange of 1,000 prisoners for 1,000,” Peskov said.
According to him, the key issue for Moscow is who will sign the documents on behalf of Ukraine during negotiations between the two delegations.
“The Kremlin will announce whether it considers a phone call between Putin and Trump appropriate,” he added.
