Russian President Vladimir Putin did indeed tell U.S. President Donald Trump that Moscow would respond to Kyiv’s recent attacks, said Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Russian bureau reports.
Peskov confirmed that during a conversation with Trump, Putin said that Russia would respond to Ukraine’s attacks on airfields.
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that the timing and manner of the response would be decided by the Russian military.
