The Kremlin considers the idea of the "coalition of the willing" to deploy peacekeeping forces in Ukraine unacceptable and posing a critical threat, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He agreed with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu’s remarks, which stated that deploying peacekeepers to Russia's historical territories would pose a risk of a third world war.
“Our doctrine fully addresses issues related to nuclear weapons. This doctrine is accessible. As for discussions about deploying military contingents to Ukrainian territory, this is completely unacceptable for us. It poses a critical threat to both European and global security,” Peskov emphasized.
