"Crimean authorities are ready to participate in peace talks on Ukraine if needed," said Vladimir Konstantinov, head of the Crimea’s State Council, APA reports citing TASS.
“We are ready to take part in the negotiations. After the 2014 referendum, many delegations visited us and reviewed documents confirming the peninsula’s legal return to Russia. They were surprised by how strictly we followed international law and how different the real situation in Crimea was from what they had seen or heard in their own countries. We are ready to do whatever is necessary for the benefit of the country, including joining negotiations,” he said.
