Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has arrested members of a gang that stole high-grade diamonds produced by the Russian company Alrosa and sold them to a company owned by Armenian pro-government MP Khachatur Sukiasyan, Russia’s Investigative Committee said in a statement, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.
The Committee's press service reported that the stolen precious stones were sold to ADM Diamond, a company owned by the Armenian lawmaker.
The statement also noted that brothers A.A. Bagikyan, who are internationally wanted, were involved in committing the crime.
