The Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a note to the Russian ambassador regarding the raid on a Moscow bathhouse complex, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Russian Ambassador Sergey Vakunov was summoned to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 11 in connection with the raid carried out against Kyrgyz citizens at the “Bodrost” bathhouse complex in Moscow.
During the meeting, Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziyev handed over an official note to Vakunov, requesting that measures be taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents, which could harm “Kyrgyz-Russian allied and strategic partnership relations.”
According to Kyrgyz media reports, on April 11, police conducted a raid on a Moscow bathhouse complex where around 60 Kyrgyz citizens were present. Witnesses claim that security forces beat them before detaining more than 20 people.
