Azerbaijani-origin lawyer, and former attorney Elman Pashayev living in Russia was arrested in Moscow, APA's Russian bureau reports.
According to the report, today the Moscow Military Garrison Court considered the selection of preventive measures against Pashayev.
The court sent Pashayev to the detention center until November 15.
It should be noted that E. Pashayev is suspected of an especially large amount of fraud. It was reported that he promised to release blogger Alexei Blinovsky and his wife from criminal prosecution in exchange for 300,000 dollars and 18.5 million rubles.

Today he will be considered for pretrial detention.
If Elman Pashayev is arrested, his contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense will be frozen.
Recall that yesterday the Russian Military Investigative Committee released information about Pashayev's detention. It was reported that Pashayev is suspected of fraud of more than 46 million rubles.
