U.S President George Bush congratulates Ilham Aliyev

Bush expressed his best wishes to the Head of State.
â€œWe will do our best to deepen bilateral fraternal and partnership relations between the two countries. We hope for progress in the field of energy security and achievement of agreement on core principles for the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. We support Azerbaijanâ€™s efforts directed in strengthening democratic institutions,â€ he said.
I hope for further continuation of our cooperation and wish peace and successes to Azerbaijan,â€ he said.
German President Horst Koehler and Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his reelection.
