Ankara. Zaur Hasanov – APA. 560 Azerbaijanis have been registered to vote in the polling station set up in Azerbaijani embassy in Turkey. Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Turkey Zakir Hashimov told APA that 128 of these voters had participated in the voting by afternoon. Ambassador said few voters participated in the elections, because it was a working day in Turkey and most of the students had classes. He said the voters were expected to be active after 18.00 (Baku time). Polling stations have been set up in Azerbaijani embassy in Ankara and consulate in Istanbul to ensure Azeris’ participation in the presidential elections. Professor, violinist Server Ganiyev heads six-member election commission in the embassy.
