Nearly 50 thousand local and international observers to watch the presidential elections in Azerbaijan

Nearly 50 thousand local and international observers will watch the presidential elections in Azerbaijan on October 15, said Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov, APA reports. He said registration of the observers had already been completed. 2672 local and 1233 international observers applied to CEC in the specified period. District electoral commissions registered 43 100 observers. 25 000 of them represent political parties, 15 000 â€“ NGOs and nearly 6 000 are independent observers. Panahov said the media would be informed for five times about the voting process on October 15.
