Ali Ahmadov meets with the head of OSCE observation mission

Representative of presidential candidate Ilham Aliyev, deputy chairman of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov met with the head of OSCE observation mission Boris Frlec on Friday. They discussed measures taken during the election campaign, pre-election situation, works done for transparency and fairness of the elections.
The ambassador said the observation mission took interest in the voting process, but not in the results. Frlec briefed about the mission’s activity and said that Ilham Aliyev’s campaign was organized at the high level.
Ahmadov said all efforts were made to make the elections meet legal demands. Ahmadov said he believed that elections in Azerbaijan would be transparent and fair and emphasized the significance of positive report on the elections.
