CEC considers Hafiz Hajiyev’s appeal

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. Media Group under CEC has considered appeal of Hafiz Hajiyev, presidential candidate from Umid Party today, APA reports.
The appeal covers that Hajiyev insulted presidential candidate Igbal Agazadeh during his speech in Public Radio on September 26 and violated Articles of the Electoral Code. Azer Tagiyev, Head of Media Group noted that the Criminal Code envisaged Articles on slander and insult and stressed that they should appeal to the court on it individually.
Other members of the group stated that Hajiyev violated Articles of Electoral Code and proposed to set up issue during meeting of CEC. The proposal has been approved.
The appeal also says that Hajiyev did not address during time allocated for him in Public Radio. Representative of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company told that the time was not allocated to broadcast speeches, but roundtable. The candidate should not be accused for his first or last speech. The second appeal has not been approved.
