Baku. Elnur Mammadli–APA. CEC has held next meeting today. The meeting considered appeals on appointment of lawyers of presidential candidates Hafiz Hajiyev and Fuad Aliyev. CEC Secretary Natig Mammadov stated that 30 lawyers had been appointed for Hajiyev and 30 lawyers for Fuad Aliyev. Lawyers of both candidates have been registered by CEC. CEC member Akif Gurbanov noted that members with advisory voice could not be registered as lawyer.
“It is true that, the law does not ban it. Competences of lawyers and members with advisory voice differs each otherâ€, he said. CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov added that there was not any prohibition on it and stressed that members with advisory voice could be registered as lawyer.
