OSCE Observation Mission establishes 14 election groups in Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. Members of OSCE long-term Observation Mission, which will observe presidential elections in Azerbaijan on October 15, have been sent to Azerbaijan’s regions, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov provided information, APA reports.
To him, OSCE observers have been sent to Baku, Absheron (3), Sumgait, Guba, Shamakhi, Gandja (2), Barda, Imishli, Shirvan, Lankaran, Shaki, Nakhchivan. Groups will observe election process in polling stations in regions.
He stated that CEC would cooperate with observers. Panahov appealed to OSCE observers and asked them to appeal to CEC on shortcomings.
“We will solve these problems immediately. I do not think that there can be serious problems and we will not be able to solve it. Members of commission, who cause problems, violate laws, will be punishedâ€, he said.
