Azerbaijan hosts the 1st Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva – APA-Economics. Iteca Caspian LLC, part of the ITE Group, opened the 1st Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition (CIPS-2008) in Baku on November 5.
29 companies of 9 countries are expected to join the exhibition.
Maddad Guliyev, Chief of Main Security Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, underlined the importance of this first exhibition, saying there is a need for the introduction of modern security technology in the country.
Ferid Mammadov, Director of Iteca Caspian, said the debut exhibition will be open until November 7.
The exhibition will have stands on Burglar Alarms, CCTV and Surveillance Systems, Access Control, Fire Safety, Anti-Terrorist and Customs Equipment, Counter Measures Against Industrial Espionage, Integrated Systems / R & B for Security Systems, Protection of the Processing, Compiling and Distribution of the Information, Communication and Public Hazard Warning Systems, Personal Security / Protection, Special Vehicles, Civil Defence and Insurance and Security Constructions, Information Security and Computer Protection, Integrated Systems etc.
Some participants include Security Systems (Azerbaijan), Vidonet (Russia), Hitas (Turkey), KC&SS (Azerbaijan), Yigit Elektronik (Turkey), AXÄ°S Communications (Switzerland), CBC (Japan), Pelco (USA) and Tipas (Lithuania).
The opening ceremony was joined by representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Defense Industry, Ministry of Defense, State Special Protection Service, State Customs Committee, Voluntary Military Patriotic Sports Society and other organizations.
