On May 2, U.S. stock markets recorded gains: the Dow Jones rose by 1.39% to 41,317.43 points, the S&P 500 increased by 1.47% to 5,686.67 points, and the Nasdaq climbed by 1.51% to 17,977.73 points.
In European markets, the FTSE 100 grew by 1.17% to 8,596.35 points, Germany's DAX rose by 2.62% to 23,086.65 points, and France's CAC-40 went up by 2.33% to 7,770.48 points.
On the global currency market, the euro strengthened against the dollar by 0.06%, reaching 1.1297 USD.
