Istanbul. Mayis Alizadeh – APA. The aircraft that crushed today in Konya was not involved in the Turkey-Azerbaijan joint exercise, the Head Quarters of the Turkish Armed Forces told APA.
“Our aircraft that crushed was flying not for the joint exercise between Azerbaijan and Turkey but on another exercise mission in that region,” the HQ public relations department said in a statement to APA’s Turkey bureau.
Note that, an aircraft of the Turkish Air Forces which took off today in Eskisehir has crushed on the outskirts of Konya, killing two pilots.
Turkey and Azerbaijan are holding the joint exercise “TURAZ Falcon 2015” in Konya.
