Dmytro Salamatin conveyed Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych’s greetings and congratulations on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Azerbaijan to the Head of State, APA reports quoting AzerTAc news agency.
The Minister said the Ukrainian President had always paid attention to expansion of relations with Azerbaijan.
Dmytro Salamatin noted Ukraine was interested in developing bilateral relationship with Azerbaijan.
The Head of State said Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations had a big history, noting Azerbaijan attaches great importance to development of these ties even more.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of strengthening bilateral relationship.
The President expressed hope Dmytro Salamatin’s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two countries’ defense authorities.
The Head of State asked the Minister to pass on his greetings to the Ukrainian President.
