Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Lieutenant General Vahid Aliyev, Military Prosecutor of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant-General of Justice Khanlar Valiyev, Head of the Main Department of the Ministry of National Security, Major-General Nizami Shirinov attended the meeting.
Vahid Aliyev announced the decree on approval of the Regulation on Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev on December 18, 2013, to the participants.
Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov delivered a report on the outcomes of combat readiness of the Armed Forces in 2013 and tasks lying ahead for academic year 2014.
Recent reforms carried out by the Armed Forces, state of combat readiness, creative work, several service issues were discussed and relevant instructions were given at the board meeting.
