The Defense Ministry said on Sept.8 that military reservists were also involved in the command-staff military exercises held according to the plan approved by President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
More than 6,000 military reservists were involved in the exercises launched on Sept.6 in order to fulfill the tasks related to mobilization.
As part of the exercises, practical trainings on use of weapons and military equipment in close combat conditions, live fire trainings, as well as trainings to check moral and psychological preparation and on other military specialties are being carried.
