“The Supreme Commander-in-Chief has set tasks before the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. To fulfill these tasks, we should hold exercises day and night, and raise the combat readiness of the personnel. I instructed the General Staff to hold all exercises under real combat conditions. I held discussions with my deputies and commanders of military units during the exercises. I can say with full responsibility that exercises are being held at a high level,” said Hasanov.

The minister stressed that the reforms carried out by the head of state in the Armed Forces are yielding results and improving the combat readiness of troops.

The Azerbaijani army is provided with most modern weapons and military equipment, and all this is the result of the attention paid to the army by the head of state, Hasanov added.
