Baku – APA. “Turkey and Azerbaijan may also attend Georgia-US joint military exercises next year,” Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania told journalists, APA reports. He said that Georgian Defense Ministry is going to hold exercises at the brigade level.
“We are negotiating with the US in this regard. The countries of the region will likely attend the exercises. We do not hide that Georgia has special military cooperation with Turkey and Azerbaijan. We have already held joint staff exercises and are negotiating in a trilateral format. Thus, if the geography of the participants expands, it will supposedly be due to Turkey and Azerbaijan.”
