The practical example of the system created to provide air defense of infantry units has been already designed. The system installed on the military machines can be used against both low-flying and surface targets.
New air defense system includes 2 barreled machine gun with 14,5 mm caliber and two portable anti-aircraft missile complexes “Strela -1”. The turret, where machine guns and anti-aircraft missile complex were annexed, can observe the targets in 360 degrees by revolving.
Machine guns deployed in parallel can fire at targets in 75 degrees and “Strela-1” in 85 degrees.
