To him, unmanned aerial vehicles are used in investigation of territorial research of mined areas: ‘This method was tested last year in Goygol base of ANAMA. At the same time, we have studied Croatian experience in this field. We will use it in future. It is dangerous to reconnoiter in the mine-contaminated lands. Therefore, it is advisable to use unmanned flying vehicles’.
ANAMA director says that there are some changes in the structure of the soil in the photos taken from the UAVs. And it makes easier to determine existence of mines in the area.
