Azerbaijan State Border Service improves observation and detection opportunities in Caspian Sea   - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

Guliyev said that an important progress has been achieved on the provision of non-stop service by patrol boats in the most important directions of the Caspian Sea and protection of Azerbaijani interests on the boundary waters. He underlined that the high combat readiness was demonstrated during large-scale tactical exercises evolving all swimming equipments of the Coast Guard and covering 9 topics held in 3 stages in April of the current year.

According to him, 80 ships owned by Azerbaijan, 18 by Russia, 3 by Iran, 5 by Turkmenistan, 539 small motor boats owned by Azerbaijan were reviewed in order to control the border regime during the reporting period. Necessary measures have been taken regarding 18 Azerbaijani, 5 Russian ships, 1 Iranian ship and 250 Azerbaijani boats.
