Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Safar Abiyev has received OSCE Deputy Secretary General Adam Kobieracki. The Defense Ministry’s press service told APA that they exchanged views on the tense military and political situation that was caused by the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and other issues.
Touching on the reasons of the protraction of the problem, Abiyev noted that the four resolutions adopted by the UN have not been fulfilled and no results have been achieved in the activity of OSCE Minsk Group during 20 years. The Minister said unfortunately the wait-and-see attitude of the international organizations on the conflict tempts the aggressor more.
Responding to Kobieracki’s question about the flights to Nagorno Karabakh, Abiyev said: “The flights can be operated to Nagorno Karabakh only after the state of war ends. First of all, Armenia armed units must leave the Azerbaijani territories.”
