Defense Ministry takes a stance on reports about incident between officers in military unit

Baku â€“ APA. â€œThere was a false media report that commander of Defense Ministryâ€™s military unit, Lieutenant Colonel Rovshan Aliyev and Major Ali Malikov had a conflict and in the aftermath of the conflict Ali Malikov injured Rovshan Aliyev,â€ Defense Ministryâ€™s press service told APA. The press service says that according to media reports the commander of the military unit was hospitalized.
Lieutenant Colonel Rovshan Aliyev and Major Ali Malikov said they had no conflict.
â€œWe did not have a conflict. None of us was injured or hospitalized. Now we are making statement together with Major Ali Malikov. Some want to cast shadow on the image of the army by spreading these reports. The report is not right. First of all, Ali Malikov is not deputy commander of the military unit as reported, but officer of the ministry. On the other hand, the post of deputy commander is vacant. So, you see that the report is completely false,â€ he said.
Major Ali Malikov also refuted the reports.
â€œAs noted I am not deputy commander, I do not serve in the same military unit. Simply I live in the military camp of the military unit. I wonder who invented it,â€ he said.
