Mother of Azerbaijani captive: We have not been told that Roman wanted to be sent to the third country

She said they learned about it from media.

â€œWe do not have any information about the whereabouts of my son. We last got a letter from him last month. My son wrote that everything was all right. We have not been told that Roman wanted to be sent to the third country.
We are going to appeal to the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons. We want Roman to return home,â€ he said.

Corporal of Azerbaijani Armed Forces Huseynov was captured by Armenian army on August 27, 2010. According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, Roman Huseynov refused to return to Azerbaijan and was handed over to the third country with the mediation of the representatives of the UN Refugee Agency and the International Organization for Migration.
