Press service of the Defense Ministry told APA that the purpose of the visit is to participate in the next meeting of CIS Defense Ministers Council.
The ministers will exchange view on the current situation and perspectives of cooperation issues between the armed forces of CIS member states.
During the visit, Abiyev will meet with several CIS states defense ministers.
