Vietnamese mine pickers to learn ANAMAâ€™s practice

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. Vietnamese mine pickers to learn practice of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action, ANAMA told APA.

According to information, 12-person delegation of the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF) will be on a visit in Azerbaijan on May 1-5. The visit will be carried out by the initiative of Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) and the delegation will visit Training Centre in Goygol region. They will also meet the activity of Education & Training Quality Assurance Bodies (ETQA), operations in Saloglu Military Base. They will meet with the people damaged from mine. The visit purposes to learn ANAMAâ€™s management mechanisms.

GICHDâ€™s management on quality Vera Bohle will inform about the Azerbaijanâ€™s works in demining sphere.

Note that, ANAMA has held trainings for Afghan, Tajik, Turkish and Georgian mine pickers.
