Armenians violated ceasefire 80 times in March killing two Azerbaijani servicemen and 9-year-old child

According to the results of the monitoring conducted by APA basing on the official information of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, two Azerbaijani servicemen and one civilian – 9-year-old child were killed, one serviceman was wounded as a result of the violation of ceasefire.

Compared to the previous months Armenians were active on the north of Armenia-Azerbaijan state border – Gazakh region. In this part of the state border Armenian Army fired on the positions of Azerbaijani Armed Forces and settlements 28 times. Moreover, Armenians fired on Tovuz region twice, Gedebey region twice, Aghstafa once and Goygol region once.

Last month the tension on Karabakh frontline was mainly recorded in the south-western frontline – in Fuzuli region. Though there are no materials of the Defense Ministry concerning the situation on the Nowruz holiday, generally the ceasefire was violated 20 times in Fuzuli. One Azerbaijani serviceman was killed, one wounded in the battles.

Ceasefire was violated in Aghdam 12 times, in Terter 7 times, in Goranboy 5 times.

The settlements that most underwent violation of ceasefire by Armenian Armed Forces in March are Ashagi Seyidahmadli village (9 times) of Fuzuli region and Jevahirli village (8 times) of Aghdam region.

Ceasefire was violated by Armenian Armed Forces 160 times in the first three months of 2011 (24 times in January, 56 times in February). As a result of the violation of ceasefire, six servicemen of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, one civilian (child) were killed, one was wounded.
