Azerbaijanâ€™s Defense Ministry: Housing conditions of the personnel are being improved

Defense Ministryâ€™s press service told APA that construction and reconstruction works were carried out in 43 military camps. 6 soldier barracks (total area 47 050 sq m), 2 chow halls (total area 18 735 sq m), 2 headquarters (total area 5 741 sq m), 2 medical facilities (total area 4 472 sq m), 3 residential buildings (total area 28 462 sq m), 2 buildings for boiler house, bathhouse, laundry (total area 2 320 sq m), a surgical unit (total area 17 600 sq m), administrative building (total area 4 918 sq m) were constructed.

5 soldier barracks (total area 46 387 sq m), 2 chow halls (total area 13 798 sq m), 2 headquarters (total area 5 851 sq m), 2 medical facilities (total area 4 472 sq m), 6 residential buildings (total area 85 858 sq m), 2 buildings for boiler house, bathhouse, laundry (total area 2 204 sq m), a club-canteen (total area 2 258 sq m), surgical unit (total area 3 414 sq m), 8-storey treatment unit (total area 30 173 sq m), bedroom building (total areas 11 000 sq m), training building (total area 33 000 sq m) are being overhauled.

15 boiler houses (total area 922 sq m) were built in Ganja-72, Deller-1, Shamkir-3, Seyfeli-1, Gedebey (Saratovka), Gedebey (Bashkend), Zigh-72, Berde-1, Sarijali-1 (Milabad) military camps. Boiler houses were repaired in Baki-52, Baki-55, Girmizi Sharg-1, Girmizi Sharg-49, Agstafa-3, Pirakushkul-2 military camps. Internal heating systems were reinstalled in 14 buildings in Girmizi Sharg-1, Zigh-7, Agstafa-3 and Pirakushkul-2 military camps. High-voltage lines were built in Beylegan (Milabad), Shamakhi (Gizmeydan), Shamakhi (Gurbanchi), Shamakhi (Sundu), Komurkey military camps. 8 soldier barracks and 8 chow halls were repaired in Garaheybet-1, Uchtepe-1, Bilajari-190, Guzdek-1, Ganja-38, Ganja-76, Ganja-84 and Ganja-111 military camps. The roofs of 24 facilities (total area 18 750 sq m) were repaired.
