Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (AzRC) to create Playground Safety for children in some villages risky with mine and UXOs

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA. This year, within the framework of the program on struggle against weapons, the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (AzRC) will create Playground Safety for children in some villages risky with mine and UXOs, AzRC told APA.
Such playgrounds were established in 7 villages by financial support of Germany Red Crescent Society within last year.
According to Strategy on Landmine Victims Assistance, 6 families from Gazakh region losing supporter of family as a result of mine/UXOs and 7 from Agstafa region were distributed cattle and feeding stuff within the framework of Social Support project. It is planned to continue the analogical project this year and enhance surrounding area of the project by participation of donors.
